Who You Are
GFX Solutions is currently searching for a Human Resource Generalistto join our Human Resources team in Oakville, Ontario.
In this role, you will maintain and communicate company policy to supervisors and associates. You will promote, implement, and communicate activities regarding policies, regulations, and standards related to employment and occupational issues for hourly and salary staff.
What You Can Expect From the Role:
The responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalistteam member are as follows:

- Perform tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, occupational health and safety, training and development, etc.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, as well as training and development initiatives as required
- Promote HR programs to create an effective and conflict-free workplace
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as required
- Offer accurate information/support to employees on HR-related topics such as compensation, benefits and leaves; and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Responsible for hourly employee attendance tracking, vacation tracking and issuing of appropriate corrective actions.
What Qualifications and Skills Do You Possess?
- College Diploma or University Degree in Business related field.
- CHRP/CHRL designation preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources
- Prefer previous experience in automotive manufacturing industry andISO/TS16949 manufacturing environment
- Ability to build long term relationships and put effort in earning trust.
- Sound knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, compensation, WSIB, Health and Safety, etc.
- Collaborative, proactive and results oriented.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package for this critical role, including
- Salary Range: $58,000 to $70,000 annual Salary
