Automotive Shop Foreman / Manager - Auto Illusions Inc
Auto Illusions inc is looking for an experienced Foreman / Manager to take full control of daily shop operations at our busy mechanical and collision facility in the GTA.
This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for someone who can lead, make decisions, and keep the shop moving without supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Open and run the shop day-to-day.
- Deal directly with customers (estimates, approvals, updates).
- Manage workflow and keep technicians productive.
- Coordinate parts and job timelines with suppliers.
- Maintain organization, efficiency, and accountability in the shop.
- Oversee job progress, invoicing, and overall operations.
Requirements:
- Strong automotive knowledge (mechanical background required).
- Proven experience in a foreman or management role.
- Confident dealing with customers and handling problems on the spot.
- Leadership mentality - not someone that needs to be managed.
- Highly organized, punctual, and reliable.
