• Salary: From $5,000 to $7,500 per month
• Job Type: Full Time
• Location: Penticton, British Columbia V2A 1L6

Position Overview

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service. Your role involves providing courteous, timely, and professional assistance while accurately assessing vehicle service requirements.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Greet and assist service customers promptly with professionalism and courtesy
• Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify necessary services
• Promote appropriate services, parts, and accessories using strong product knowledge
• Provide accurate cost estimates and service completion times; obtain customer authorization for services
• Monitor service progress and communicate updates or changes to customers
• Administer warranty repairs for new and used vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines
• Confirm service appointments by phone prior to customer arrival and follow up after service completion
• Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure completion of services and repairs; communicate results to customers
• Ensure compliance with applicable provincial and federal laws regarding automobile repair and consumer protection
• Demonstrate company values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors

Working Hours

This is a full-time role with standard business hours. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements: Qualifications
 

• Minimum two years of experience as a service advisor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for British Columbia
• Positive attitude and energetic personality
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment
