Overview

The Fleet Supervisor contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Company by overseeing the regular and preventative maintenance of all fleet equipment utilized to fulfill customer needs. This person manages both professional and skilled employees in a unionized environment.

This role is based out of our PepsiCo location in London, ON and covers fleet operations at the following locations:
 

  • London
  • Essex
  • Orillia
  • Owen Sound


There is potential to support additional locations or an expanded network of fleet operations.

Total Compensation: $63,300 - $103,200

Responsibilities

 

  • Creates a safe working environment for team & drives reliability of Fleet assets
  • Demonstrates knowledge and coaches team in troubleshooting, repair procedures and preventative maintenance of fleet equipment
  • Ensures equipment and individual compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MOT) and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations & Training requirements
  • Ability to learn internal & external compliance process and legislation
  • Achieves or exceeds target results related to cost, asset preservation, breakdown, preventative maintenance, and asset availability
  • Sets financial and individual targets aligned with Annual Operating Plan objectives and Fleet standards
  • Manages performance standards to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, safety and Fleet standards
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external business partners in support of overall PepsiCo goals
  • Develops team for fleet self sufficiency
  • Develops strong relationships with suppliers and external partners


Qualifications

 

  • Fleet maintenance experience is an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook


Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in consumer packaged products, or similar industry
  • Experience with MOT and/or provincial transportation association (Not Required)
