The HR- Labour Relations Professional - Windsor Assembly Plant will provide front line guidance to plant operating management and employees in all aspects of human resources related to labour relations functions.
The candidate must be willing and able to work rotating shifts including the afternoon shift, weekends and overtime as required.
Labour Relations responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Administration of the collective agreement including grievance administration, interpretation and overall compliance
- Facilitating effective management/union relations
- Administration of the company attendance program and other code of conduct policies
- Discipline management, analysis and assessment
- Responsible for data gathering and generating reports to compile into presentations with data and trend analysis
- Conducting workplace investigations
- Coaching, guiding and providing direction to operating management on assigned shift
- Assignments related to collective bargaining and other HR assignments as required to support the manufacturing HR department
This position is required to fill a vacancy.
Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 a year

Basic Qualifications:
- University level Bachelor's degree
- Strong interest in growing as a Human Resources professional
- Interest in working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, team building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
- Available to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field
- Strong project management skills
- Prior Human Resources or Labour Relations experience in an unionized environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including the Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act and Occupational Health & Safety Act
