Who You Are:
Ground Effects is currently searching for aEstimatorto join our team in Windsor, Ontario. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication and organizational skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in a related field
• Minimum 3 years experience required
• Metal fabrication and injection molding or woodworking contingent upon plant requirements would be beneficial where applicable.
• Reviewing customer specifications and RFQ's.
• Performing cost comparisons
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have and maintain an appropriate and valid Ontario Driver's license.
• Must be team oriented and have excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Create and administer Requests for Quote (RFQ's).
• Facilitate RFQ and cost proposal review meetings.
• Participate in program kick off meetings to ensure team has a thorough understanding of the products quoted (materials and processes).
• Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors, negotiate pricing and tooling where applicable
• Compile and present responses to customers.
• Ensure all projects are completed in a manner which meets company objectives and timelines.
• Interact with accounting department to ensure accurate and timely input of costing data into ERP system where applicable
• Assist with other projects and duties as assigned to promote the growth and advancement of Ground Effects.
• Other duties as assigned
