An exciting opportunity awaits the MINI Sales, Marketing and Product Intern who will get the chance to work for an iconic brand in supporting the Marketing, Sales & Product areas of the business. Gain valuable experience by providing executional support in the areas of Digital, CRM, Partnerships, Campaigns and Events. Broaden your administrative, analytical and technical skills through providing support in Performance Reporting and managing budgets with the team. There will also be opportunities to support the Product Manager, Regional Operations Managers and Director, MINI. The tentative start date for this internship is May 2026.
Key Accountabilities of the function.
Marketing:
- Support all areas of the Marketing function including CRM, Digital and Website, Social, Brand and Retailer Marketing, Events and Marketing Analytics.
- Be the lead in ensuring the Marketing Hub, a central repository for Canadian MINI imagery, videos, and guidelines, are up to date with MINI's most recent content to support retailers.
- Maintain accuracy and ongoing support with reporting (retailer or NSC).
- Support MINI Marketing team in maintaining MINI Life and MINI Social email inboxes - includes processes to verify customer or vehicle details and customer support in redemption of ownership benefits.
- Learn to work with creative and media agencies through micro digital campaigns.
- Raise CM-C4-CA Brand and DAG estimates in SAP, and ensure all invoices are paid. Liaise with Controlling to ensure all transfers, tracking, etc. are up to date.
- Participate in monthly budget reconciliation meetings for Marketing team.
Sales:
- Administrative Support for retailer incentive programs
- Support Regional Operations Managers with KPI reporting and presentation templates as needed
- Regional Marketing Co-op claim processing and reports.
Product:
- Assist product planning with build and system testing
- Support Product Manager with respect to competitive analysis, product and trim sample distribution, and other ad hoc projects.
- Work with product planning to identify any product related topics / challenges to improve accuracy of information and implement ongoing improvement processes (e.g. on configurator).
- Ensure all retailer guides are uploaded onto the internal and retailer infonet.
Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc.
- Strong communication, writing and editing skills.
- Excellent organization and project management skills; impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to own projects from start to finish and adhere to strict deadlines - strong sense of accountability.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to build clear and impactful presentations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, work-intensive environment.
- Understanding of paid media categories and media planning considered an asset.
- Automotive industry background would be an asset.
- Bilingual in French would be considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau is an asset.
Compensation.
The compensation range for this role is $46,000 - $48,000, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
