Tower Operator / Service Dispatcher - Legacy Dodge Fort McMurray 

This is a control-the-operation role - not a sit-and-watch position. 

Legacy Dodge is looking for a Tower Operator / Dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping a shop running efficiently, productively, and on time. 
If you're organized, decisive, and understand how to balance technician efficiency, workflow, and customer promise times - this role puts you at the center of the operation. 

What You'll Do: 
As the Tower Operator, you will manage and control the daily flow of work through the shop: 

 

• Dispatch repair orders based on technician skill level, availability, and efficiency
• Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and workload throughout the day
• Balance shop capacity to meet promise times and customer expectations
• Prioritize emergency, waiters, and same-day work appropriately
• Manage workflow to minimize bottlenecks and downtime
• Maintain clear communication with Service Advisors, Foreman, and Management
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure jobs move through the shop efficiently
• Reassign or adjust work as needed to maintain shop performance
• Support daily operational targets including:
  • Technician productivity & efficiency
  • Cycle time
  • Promise time accuracy
  • CP Hours per RO

What We're Looking For: 

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to make quick, confident decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in:
  • Automotive service dispatching (preferred)
  • Service advisor, technician, or shop coordination role (asset)
• Experience with dealership systems (PBS or similar) is an asset
