YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Planning and Execution teams regarding parts requirements for light vehicle equipment and tires;
- Validate technical details before submitting requests to Procurement;
- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment on maintenance priorities and material readiness;
- Ensure that correct parts are identified and ordered on the first attempt;
- Use parts catalogs, manuals, technical drawings, and CMMS data to accurately determine required components;
- Work directly with suppliers to clarify technical doubts and reduce the risk of incorrect orders;
- Address non-conforming materials and follow up on corrective actions with vendors;
- Track order status and update stakeholders on delivery dates or changes;
- Monitor material reception for scheduled work and verify conformance to specifications;
- Assist maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) to improve future planning accuracy;
- Review backlog and outstanding work orders to determine upcoming parts requirements;
- Respond to urgent requests by assisting Light Vehicle & Tire Supervisors in finding or sourcing parts for breakdowns;
- Engage with field technicians to understand equipment configurations, modifications, and best practices;
- Train technicians on parts order to increase efficiency & accuracy of workflow;
- Assist in developing and improving safe work procedures related to materials and task preparation
- Work with vendors and IT staff to set parts catalogs access;
- Train supervisors & executors to able to make their owns search/requests for weekends coverage or vacations;
- Create and assist tire shop for creating BOM's and model work orders for the tire department;
- Cover for light-vehicle planner/scheduler when required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience using and interpreting parts catalogs, preferably for light/medium duty vehicles (Mopar, Paccar, International, Daimler, CAT, Genie, Terex) and/or mining equipment;
- Prior experience in maintenance planning, technical procurement, or parts coordination is an asset;
- Familiarity with mobile mining equipment or electrical distribution systems is considered a strong advantage;
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, drawings, and BOMs;
- CMMS experience required; JDE experience is a strong asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset;
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers and multiple internal teams;
- Experience in work management practices and procedures;
- Detailed oriented with drive for continuous improvement.
Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodation and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
