Discover Kia is seeking a General Manager to lead our dealership and champion the Kia experience. Designing movement and creating innovative mobility solutions, Kia inspires connection, convenience, and meaningful moments for every customer. This role carries full accountability for performance, culture, and daily operations, ensuring every interaction reflects the trust, innovation, and forward-thinking spirit of this iconic brand.

As General Manager, you will set clear expectations, develop and support department leaders, and drive consistent results across the dealership. You will champion Kia's values by caring for people, moving further together, empowering teams to act, daring to push boundaries, and chasing excellence every day. This role suits a collaborative leader who values the strength of a stable dealer group and is motivated to make a lasting, positive impact on the business, the team, and the customers who are genuinely cared for.

Compensation:

 

  • Expected earnings of $150,000 to $180,000 annually, comprised of a competitive base salary and performance-based bonus, along with a demo vehicle and comprehensive benefits.


The Role:

As General Manager of Discover Kia, you will be responsible for the overall performance, culture, and strategic direction of the dealership. Your leadership will directly influence results across all departments, including:

 

  • Customer Experience: Ensure every interaction reflects Kia's and Steele Auto Groups standards.
  • Employee Experience: Lead, coach, and support department leaders, building accountable, high-performing teams
  • Dealership Leadership: Alignment with Kia's brand standards and Steele Auto Group expectations.
  • Financial & Operational Performance: Manage budgets while driving profitability and long-term stability.
  • Sales & Marketing: Strengthen market share and brand presence.
  • Market Growth: Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies.
  • Strategic Execution: Implement Steele Auto Group policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • People & Culture: Partner with HR.


What You Bring:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of dealership leadership experience
  • Confident decision-making, sound judgment, and strategic thinking
  • A customer-first mindset with a genuine appreciation for uncommon experiences
  • Ability to lead in a high-accountability environment while maintaining a long-term view
  • Clear, professional communication and strong organizational skills
