The Role

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Vehicle Detailer to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of Roam's vehicle fleet. This is a hands-on, operational role that plays a critical part in ensuring every vehicle meets Roam's quality and safety standards before going into service.

You'll work independently while following clear procedures and checklists, and you'll be trusted to flag issues early so vehicles stay in top condition. This role involves regularly moving vehicles between Roam facilities and may include assisting with vehicle deliveries.

What You'll Do
 

• Detail vehicles according to Roam's established detailing standards.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections, including:
• Confirming no warning or indicator lights are active on the dashboard.
• Checking tire pressure and tire tread depth to ensure safe operation.
• Inspecting wiper blades for proper condition and functionality.
• Complete exterior vehicle washes.
• Conduct Roam's mechanical inspection checklist.
• Move vehicles between Roam facilities as needed.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries when required.
• Manage and complete regular inventory checks of detailing and vehicle supplies, including gloves, cleaners, and wash materials.
• Promptly report any mechanical, safety, or cosmetic issues to the operations team.

• Comfortable performing basic vehicle checks and inspections.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and comfort driving a variety of vehicles.
• We don't care about your education level - we care about your performance, reliability, and who you are as a person.
• Prior vehicle detailing or automotive experience is an asset, but not required.
