Renfrew Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for a driven, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Parts Manager to help lead our Parts Department and support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced dealership environment.
This is a key leadership role where you'll combine hands-on parts expertise with people leadership, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

As the Assistant Parts Manager, you will be the backbone of our Parts Department supporting the Parts Manager, leading the parts counter team, and ensuring our customers and technicians get what they need, when they need it.
Your responsibilities will include:
 

• Delivering accurate, courteous, and professional customer service at all times
• Serving retail, wholesale, and internal customers via phone, electronic, and over-the-counter sales
• Providing parts quotes, checking availability, confirming pricing, and communicating delivery timelines
• Assisting with daily operations, including inventory maintenance and stock level monitoring
• Processing inbound and outbound shipments, special orders, and follow-ups
• Managing work orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order files
• Supporting front counter, back counter, wholesale, and shop technicians
• Supervising parts staff and parts runners when required
• Completing a weekly review of open parts invoices
• Ensuring vendor invoices are accurate and maintaining healthy gross profit margins

What You Bring to the Role
 

• Solid knowledge of automotive systems and parts
• Experience monitoring inventory and identifying special-order requirements
• Familiarity with parts counter procedures, including prepayment for special orders
• Strong computer skills with the ability to search part numbers and use electronic catalogues
• High attention to detail with accurate tracking of parts and lost sales
• A team-first mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
