Automotive Junior Parts Advisor & Delivery Associate

We are seeking a motivated JuniorParts Advisor & Delivery Associate to join our dynamic team at our Cobourg Kia location.

What You'll Do:
 

•  
  • Deliver Parts to vendors
  • Lend assistance to the Parts Manager and Parts Advisors when needed
  • Assist with keeping the parts area clean and orderly.
  • Greet and serve every client courteously and promptly.
  • Answer questions and assist them in identifying and obtaining needed parts.
  • Handle orders and requests for information efficiently via telephone as well as over-the-counter clients.
  • Specify and identify parts needed to meet client requirements, so that the number of parts returned due to errors is low.
  • Use parts equipment and information resources to identify needed parts accurately.
  • Display seasonal parts attractively.
  • Maintain accurate sales and inventory records of all line items.
  • Cost-out parts and accessories on counter tickets and repair orders.
  • Maintain and prepare records by maintaining client backorder files and receiving repair orders.
  • Maintain records of lost sales due to the unavailability of parts.
  • Ensure parts are charged to repair orders.
  • Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold
  • items to stock.
  • Replenish assigned inventory daily. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of counters, displays, shelves, bins, and client contact areas by following good housekeeping procedures.
  • Cooperate with and assist Plaza Auto Group center personnel in the preparation of orders for delivery or by performing other job-related tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Upgrade knowledge of Plaza Auto Group products and services by training on-the-job and participating in educational and development programs.
