A day in the life...

A day in the life of a Warranty Advisor involves a mix of administrative precision and customer service. Reporting to the Fixed Operations Manager, your responsibilities start with accurately coding warranty claims and entering them into the dealership's automated system. You'll process warranty paperwork, ensure proper documentation, and verify criteria required by manufacturers. Throughout the day, you'll work closely with the Parts and Service Departments, maintaining strong relationships while booking and coding warranty and internal repair orders. You'll stay informed about factory recalls and announcements, track claims, and reconcile warranty receivables with the accounting team. Additionally, you'll educate customers on warranty coverage, handle rejected claims, and ensure all service and customer records are up to date. Your attention to detail and commitment to high service standards ensure that customers receive timely and efficient warranty support.

What we look for...
 

  • Previous experience in automotive warranty administration or a similar role (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and warranty processes.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A positive can-do attitude!
