Reports to: Fleet Manager 

Summary 

This position is responsible for the presentation, delivery and preparation of inventory to customers. A Delivery Specialist will assist the Fleet Team with sales administration and data entry. This role is suitable for someone with previous automotive sales administrative experience and strong communication and relationship building skills. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
 

  • Conducts instore and offsite vehicle deliveries to ensure correct features are installed and customer requirements are met as requested by the customer.
  • Conducts a vehicle walk around and explaining the features of the purchased vehicle to the customer on the day of delivery ensuring a welcoming delivery.
  • Follows up with customers 24 hours prior to delivery appointments.
  • Ensures all paperwork for sales transactions are conducted accurately, including signatures, customer information, and outstanding funds.
  • Monitors Connected services/app for all brands setup and contacts customers who are having difficulty setting up the service(s).
  • Assists the Fleet team with client knowledge and test drives during high traffic.
  • Ensures required manufacturer training is up to date.
  • Completes verbal and brief written instructions/orders from Fleet Manager.
  • Monitoring and organizing deliveries, appointments and vehicle/customer account information in One-Eighty.
  • Completes forms for vehicle lease drop-offs.
  • Confirms finances for interest rates and payments.
  • Ensures trade in vehicles are properly marked and provided to reception to be stocked for the used car department.
  • Provides continuous support to existing customers regarding questions and/or concerns to ensure long lasting relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications 
 

  • OMVIC License (preferred)
  • 1- 2 years of experience in automotive field.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License.
  • A clean driver abstract and the ability to drive a manual transmission is required One-Eighty and CDK experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a considerable asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
