In this role, you will be leading our maintenance and service initiatives for the lease and rental fleet to provide our clients with the best possible customer experience from our Ottawa location.
Reporting to the Idealease Manager, the Fleet Maintenance Service Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Service department. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company's Health and Safety Policy.• Assists our customers with coordinating running repairs and over-the-road breakdown support. Coordinates mobile service repairs and appointments with our customers. Provides feedback and follows up with our team's progress.
- Works alongside our locations' Service Managers and Customer Service Representatives to coordinate customers' vehicles, scheduling in for running repairs, Preventive Maintenance, and Annual Motor Vehicle Inspections. This includes creating repair orders, communicating progress updates to customers and monitoring to confirm timely completion.
- Contributes to our revenue targets by assisting our customers with rental reservations, rental deliveries, and rental and lease contract invoicing as required.
- Reviews internal and external repair estimates and invoices for accuracy and ensures all possible warranty and policy claims have been exhausted. Works directly with our Service Departments to address any outstanding items.
- Updates our Maintenance and Service online tools to track and monitor our performance as a Team.
- Oversees our customer charge-back process, personally obtaining customer purchase orders when necessary for repairs/damages outside of our contractual obligations.
- Other related duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. College or post-secondary education is preferred.
- 2 years combined experience in Heavy Truck, Automotive or related industry experience preferred.
- Customer Service and/or Sales work experience is an asset.
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Driven to succeed in the following areas: customer service experience, administrative skills, and time management, proficiency with computers and mobile devices (and related software).
- Criminal Record Check.
- Valid class G driver's license
- DZ Driver's License is an asset.
- Drivers Abstract.
