About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Midas Scarborough-New Market-Markham as a Licensed Automotive Service Technician! We are seeking enthusiastic 3rd-4th year apprentices to help deliver exceptional automotive services while advancing your skills in a supportive environment. Signing bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician License or equivalent.
- Completion of 3rd or 4th year apprenticeship program in automotive service.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and technologies.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
