The Fleet Maintenance Administrator isresponsible for keeping track of inventory, and ordering and purchasing partsrequired to perform repairs on trucks. They will also be required to complete Parts Inventory Managementincluding negotiating the best value, receiving, organizing inventory and partsroom, supporting the technicians for parts requirements, and charging parts used for work orders. In this position, you may need to coordinate pick up or delivery ofparts from the vendors to Emterra Environmental. Some of your responsibilities will includedealing with warranty claims and processing returns. Your duties will also includeadministrative tasks such as billing and crediting vendors, answering phonecalls, and responding to emails.
Responsibilities:
- Schedules Preventive Maintenance for EmterraEnvironmental vehicles and orders required parts for maintenance services.
- Files the repair orders, PMI forms and DVIR's(Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports).
- Enters maintenance-related data into the systemdaily as needed. Verifies the information entered by mechanics.
- Order parts that were requested from the night andday shifts with shop manager approval.
- Maintains parts inventory including cycle countingparts.
- Receives, labels, stocks and dispenses parts tomechanics, supervisors and managers.
- Assist shop manager by reviewing equipment hoursand reports.
- Produces productivity and usage reports formanagement.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Employees in this job classification must attendand participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
- Employees in this job classification areresponsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate,being used Emterra Environmental.
Requirements:
- Minimum sixmonths related work experience required.
- Experiencein the waste or trucking industry preferred
- Must havethe desire and ability to learn RTA proprietary software applications.
- Computerproficiency- MS Office, data entry, Fleet Management software and email.
- Ability tomulti task.
- Ability toprioritize and plans work activities with speed and accuracy
- Capable ofworking independently and work collaboratively with a team; and
- Good verbaland written communication skills.
- Some lifting up to 60 lbs will be required.
