Description du poste

Duties and responsibilities of the Customs Analyst include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Understanding trade programs administered by CBSA, CSA Accounting, Free Trade Agreements, classification, valuation, origin, and compliance monitoring
  • Basic customs knowledge on release procedures
  • Experience with internal Company systems
  • Support FCA Canada import/ export activities
  • Duty recovery & avoidance initiatives
  • Various projects/ initiatives
  • Vacation coverage as needed


Basic Qualifications:
 

  • Successful completion and maintenance of the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) Professional Examination. Copy of the certification will be required
  • The successful candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office computer applications
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills to extract, analyze and present data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment is required
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
