Job Description

The Fleet Analyst will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain, supporting the various divisions across the J.D. Irving, Limited Group of Companies. The successful candidate will have experience in Fleet Management and help support building the processes and reporting across various fleet types. The Fleet Analyst will have a willingness to build cross divisional relationships within the operations and a focus to bring standardization across the various stakeholders. This position is located at our head office in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities

 

  • Process owner for purchasing & activating telematics devices
  • Daily monitoring of respective telemetry portals and systems to ensure optimal functionality
  • Effective communication to respective stakeholders as needed
  • Cross divisional Fleet Management support across various fleet types
  • Facilitate meetings to review trends, patterns and other items of concern from telematics monitoring
  • Collaboration with various operational, financial and IT stakeholders and other group departments to ensure efficient utilization of telematics and telemetry for data collection and general use
  • Document processes, procedures and system configurations
  • Ability to produce reports, summaries and presentations focusing on life cycle analysis, asset utilization and total cost of ownership
  • Stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements


Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a business environment. Prior experience with master data management and analytics is preferred.
  • A self-starter who can work independently
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings with senior leaders
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with experience creating and documenting new processes
