The Opportunity:
We are changing the way people buy and service cars one dealership at a time. In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. Each month we welcome hundreds of new users to our software platform, and we need your help.

The Role:
As the Manager of Informatics, you will provide mentoring and leadership to all Informatics staff and Team Leads. You will help direct processes within Informatics and engage with various teams and managers throughout the company to ensure PBS's global vision is realized.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing coaching and mentorship to support each team under Informatics (Data Conversions, Informatics, Informatics Admin, Install Coordination, Install Tech, and Payment Processing)
- Monitoring and responding to escalated tickets
- Proactively identifying issues to be able to envision and implement long term solutions
- Work with the Team Leads within Informatics during the hiring process of new staff
- Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and provide regular feedback
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with PBS's overall vision, guiding principles and values
- Create/enforce changes to processes and procedures for all teams under Informatics
- Have an open-door policy for all employees
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
- Work with the Director of Dealer Services to gameplan future growth
- Lead and motivate the team through knowledge sharing, training, and communication
- Monitor team growth and cohesiveness to establish career pathing
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education, degree, or diploma or work equivalent
- 2-4 years experience in software support or management
- Excellent problem solver with the ability to "think on your feet"
- A self-starter who can learn quickly and always follow through on tasks
- Effective communication and presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences
- Strong technical aptitude
- Solid computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must hold a valid driver's license and passport and have the ability to travel to one of our other office locations or customer sites if necessary
