Job Description

Saatchi & Saatchi Canada has been the agency on record for Toyota for the last two decades fostering a sustainable partnership. The partnership has led to growth both for Toyota, which is a market leader in the Canadian automotive industry, as well as Saatchi that has transformed itself into a solutions oriented partner offering multitude of services across advertising functions like strategy, creative, project management and media planning. 

Media Planning and Execution has played a pivotal role in ensuring that the brand communication for Toyota and other clients is delivered to the right audience at the right time with the right context. This has enable our clients to deliver the maximum impact with their media dollars while maintaining cost efficiencies to ensure that every dollar spent goes further. 

Key functions performed by the Media Planning & Execution teams at Saatchi include 
 

  • Media Strategy
  • Traditional Media Planning - Broadcast, OOH and Print
  • Digital Media Planning - Video, CTV, Paid Social and Digital Display
  • Organic Social Planning - Content Creation, Community Management and Influencer Marketing
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Ad Trafficking
  • Financial Planning & Reporting


This is 4-months contract internship. 

Responsibilities

Digital & Social Planning 
 

  • Support the planners with execution and delivery of campaigns by engaging with internal teams
  • Support in maintaining trackers and optimization logs to improve campaign performance
  • Explore opportunities to improve efficiency & impact of campaigns in market


Organic Social Planning 
 

  • Support the team with ideation as needed for Content/Influencer campaigns by participating in brainstorming sessions
  • Community Management support across brand channels on Social Platforms
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve process around Community Management and Social Listening


Data Analysis & Reporting 
 

  • Generate periodic reports to assist planners in making data driven recommendations to clients
  • Gather data across campaigns to feed established dashboards for reporting
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities for optimization


COMMUNICATION 
 

  • Document learnings, challenges, case studies and best practices
  • Be a part of team conversations and share out of the box ideas as needed
  • Understand the AI policy at Publicis and establish prompt logs to assist teams with their day-to-day responsibilities


KEY RELATIONSHIPS & TEAMS 
 

  • Strong working relationship with the Toyota Meida planning team
  • Active partnership with the Organic Social Team
  • Partnering with cross functional teams like Account Servicing, Creative and Strategy as needed
  • Establishing rapport with External partners as needed


Qualifications

Key Skills 
 

  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of Marketing & advertising
  • Knowledge of the Digital and Social Media Landscape
  • Data Analysis, presentational and communication skills
  • Core aspects underpinning all skills: understanding of the automotive industry , analytical thinking, rigour, diplomatic skills, fast learner, ability to work independently and self-start, pro-active personality, good teamworker
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, G-Suite skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and adopt AI tools
