Pre-Owned Vehicles Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager who shares our values and wants to play a key role in the growth and performance of our department.

Your main responsibilities:

- Manage and develop the pre-owned vehicles department;
- Lead, motivate and support the Sales team to achieve established targets;
- Appraise trade-in vehicles and ensure profitable acquisitions;
- Oversee external vehicle purchases and identify market opportunities;
- Effectively manage inventory, including turnover, pricing, profitability and vehicle sourcing;
- Coordinate vehicle preparation and marketing with the appropriate departments;
- Maintain a strong online presence through effective vehicle merchandising;
- Analyze market trends and quickly adjust pricing and inventory strategies;
- Continuously improve departmental processes and performance.

Ideal candidate:

- Experience managing a pre-owned vehicles department or in a similar position;
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle appraisals, inventory management and merchandising;
- Positive leadership skills and ability to motivate a team;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to work;
- Good understanding of the automotive market and ability to respond quickly to market fluctuations;
- Entrepreneurial mindset, independence and results-driven approach;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Passion for the automotive industry and a constant desire to improve;
- Experience in external vehicle purchasing and exporting is an asset;
- Knowledge of the Merlin automotive appraisal system is an asset.
