Main responsibilities:
- Reconcile cash registers and record daily deposits;
- Record vehicle sales transactions;
- Submit sales documents to financial institutions for disbursement;
- Process and follow up on sales program claims;
- Process and follow up on electric vehicle rebates;
- Prepare Sales Representative commissions;
- Record pre-owned vehicle purchase invoices;
- Process warranty payments;
- Review and reconcile inventory and accounts receivable schedules;
- Prepare statistics for monthly financial statements;
- Prepare various accounting analyses as required.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
- Experience recording automotive sales transactions;
- Excellent knowledge of the full accounting cycle and month-end closing procedures;
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Knowledge of SERTI is an asset;
- Ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to communicate in both French and English to meet the needs of our bilingual clientele.
Intermediate-level English communication skills are required for frequent interactions with English-speaking customers.
