Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description
MasterTech is on the search for Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman in the Central Calgary area. 

The successful Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of Class 6 & 7 trucks.

We are also recruiting for a Lead Hand for the same shop on the same shift.

Compensation:

 

• $42.00 - $48.00/hour + $2/hour shift premium

Schedule:

 

• 2nd shift Monday to Friday.
• 1:30pm to 10:30pm

Key Qualifications:

 

• Licensed Journeyman Certificate
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using diagnostic software (Cummins InSite = $2/hour premium)
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background and drivers abstract
