Yard Attendant - maintenance and operations

Desjardins 440 Ford is looking for a Yard Attendant to join our team!

Schedule:

    • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.;
    • Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.;
    • Full-time, day shift;
    • No weekend work.

Responsibilities:

    • Perform general maintenance of buildings and outdoor areas;
    • Maintain and keep the yard clean;
    • Store and handle tires;

    • Mow the lawn and perform seasonal outdoor maintenance;

    • Collect and sort trash and materials;

    • Run various errands as needed;

    • Assist with transporting and moving equipment;

    • Perform various manual tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the dealership;
    • Collaborate with various departments as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

    • Reliable, resourceful, and self-motivated individual;
    • Good physical stamina and comfortable with manual labor;
    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
    • Organized and detail-oriented;
    • Valid driver’s licence required;

    • Ability to use various maintenance tools and equipment is a plus;

    • Experience in maintenance, material handling, or manual labor is a plus.
