Body Work Estimator

Job title: Auto Body Estimator.
Department: Auto Body Shop.

As a Body Shop Estimator at Groupe Park Avenue, you’ll be responsible for inspecting vehicles that come into the dealership to recommend our repair and detailing services. You’ll assist customers with warranty repairs as well as those whose vehicles have been involved in an accident covered by their insurance.

Description of daily tasks: your responsibilities, your path to success:

Inspection and estimation:

- Greet customers upon arrival with courtesy and professionalism;
- Inspect vehicles to assess repair and cosmetic service needs;
- Assess structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage to vehicles;
- Determine labor and parts costs for each repair or replacement;
- Assess the feasibility of repairs versus part replacement;
- Estimate the costs of repainting or customizing vehicles;
- Complete insurance forms and provide accurate estimates for claims processing.

Customer and partner relations:

- Build and maintain good relationships with customers to ensure their loyalty;
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to manage claims;
- Maintain a high-quality repair service and minimize return visits to the shop;
- Present yourself professionally at all times.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience in automotive mechanics and bodywork;
- Fluency in French (spoken and written);
- Ability to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Basic computer skills.
