Job description
The Service Manager's main responsibility is to lead the auto center team in delivering the ultimate customer experience in auto repairs and service.
The candidate must guide the team in building a relationship of trust and loyalty with customers through high-quality auto repairs and service, performed by a professional and competent team.
In collaboration with the dealer, the jobholder sets sales and cost-control objectives and develops strategies aimed at driving growth and increasing the department’s profitability.
Customer service:
• Establish and maintain a culture that prioritizes excellent customer service through training, supervision, coaching, and performance management;
• Review and implement department policies and procedures that enhance the customer experience, including high-quality repairs and the development of trusting relationships with customers;
• Develop a long-term strategy and action plan to attract and retain customers;
• Mentor team members to ensure they provide excellent customer service;
• Hold the team accountable for delivering excellent customer service;
• Lead by example and consistently demonstrate excellent customer service.
The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience managing a service department in Canada. Various training programs are available.
