Diesel Specialist Mechanic

Job Description

Blainville Ford is looking for an experienced Diesel Specialist Mechanic to join its team of passionate professionals.
You will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, primarily on Ford vehicles, in a modern, air-conditioned workshop. You will work in a dynamic environment that values quality workmanship, continuous training, and professional development.

Responsibilities
    • Perform specialized diagnostics on diesel engines.
    • Carry out preventive maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues related to diesel vehicles.
    • Recommend and implement effective, long-lasting solutions.
    • Perform road tests when required.
    • Follow manufacturer quality standards and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    • Collaborate with service advisors and other team members.

Required Profile
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in automotive mechanics, with strong expertise in diesel engines.
    • Experience with Ford vehicles (an asset).
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Punctual, reliable, and dedicated.
    • Independent, proactive, and professional.
    • Strong attention to quality workmanship and excellent team spirit.

Training
    • DEP in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent training.
