Heavy Equipment Technician

Job Description
MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician in Ottawa.

The successful Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc.) in a shop setting.

Compensation:

 

• $36.00 - $45.00/hour.
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
• 3 weeks paid vacation to start.
• RRSP match.

Shift:

 

• Days, 7AM start time (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

 

• Truck and Coach (310T) and/or Heavy Equipment (421A) Technician license.
• Excellent understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Able to work independently.
• Owns a set of tools.
• Valid driver's license, DZ preferred not required.
