This is a Sales Account Manager Position for wheels, tires, and accessories.
The Wheel Group (TWG), a leading automotive aftermarket company specializing in wheels, tires, and accessories, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer support to our B2B clients.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, problem solver, and sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them identify the right products, maximize sales opportunities, and achieve business success. This position plays a critical role in growing market share, developing key accounts, and supporting TWG's continued growth across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to drive retention and account growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.
- Act as a product expert, assisting customers with wheel, tire, and accessory fitment, product recommendations, and sales opportunities.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account development.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Support the growth of key accounts by working closely with the Central Sales Team and Business Development Team.
- Negotiate pricing, resolve customer concerns, and provide solutions that strengthen customer partnerships.
- Monitor account performance, sales trends, and market opportunities to drive continuous improvement and business growth.
- Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records, track sales activities, manage pipelines, and report on performance metrics.
- Assist customers with inventory planning, product selection, and sales strategies to maximize their success.
- Support accounts receivable and collection efforts by working proactively with customers to maintain healthy credit standing.
- Analyze sales data and customer activity to identify opportunities, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, sales, or customer relationship management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while achieving sales goals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze sales data and leverage insights to drive business growth.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Knowledge of wheels, tires, suspension, or automotive accessories.
- Familiarity with B2B sales and distribution channels.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
