Job description

Steele Auto Groupiscurrentlyexpanding andseekinga strategic and results-drivenSales Operations Managerto elevate sales performance, improve operational consistency, and enhance customer experience across our dealership network.

This position isbased in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and reports to the Vice President of Retail Operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible foroptimizingsales processes, strengthening CRM and lead management practices, and partnering with dealership and corporate leaders to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Compensation

Base salary of $110,000 - $130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunity. Total compensation may exceed $150,000 based on business results and individual performance.Additionalcomprehensive benefitsareincluded. Relocationassistancemay be available for qualified candidates.

What You'll Do

 

  • Lead CRM implementation, optimization, and adoption across the organization.
  • Design, implement, and support standardized sales processes thatdrivesconsistency, accountability, and performance across the network.
  • Monitor lead management, sales performance, inventory metrics, customer satisfaction, and other key performance indicators.
  • Analyze performance trends,identifyopportunities, and lead action plans that improve sales effectiveness and operational results.
  • Lead customer experience initiatives and support the execution of the Steele Auto Group Sales Playbook.
  • Conduct operational reviews and customer experience assessmentsto ensure process adherence andidentifyopportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, F&I, Used Vehicle Operations, Aftersales, and Training teams to maximize performance and customer outcomes.
  • Develop KPI reporting and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support dealership leaders in achieving sales, profitability, and customer experienceobjectives.
  • Identifyopportunities to improve processes,leveragetechnology, and implement best practices across the dealership network.


What You Bring

 

  • 5+ years of automotive dealership sales experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Proven success driving performance improvement, leading change, and coaching leaders, in an employee and customer-focused environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales process management; enterprise-level implementation experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
