Job summary:
The Service Advisor works in a fast-paced automotive service environment, communicating directly with customers and Auto Centre employees to manage customer needs and expectations regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner, whether on the phone or in person.
- Provide professional and knowledgeable advice to earn customers’ trust and loyalty.
- Actively listen to customers to identify their concerns and issues regarding vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Prepare work orders and review estimated costs with customers.
- Manage customer expectations regarding when their vehicle will be ready.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and Auto Center employees.
- Schedule maintenance appointments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of automotive mechanics.
- Ability to work shifts (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Friendly and highly customer-focused.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying merchandise, using a ladder, twisting, turning, and reaching for objects.
- Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt to and handle difficult situations, and make decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on daily tasks.
- Good working knowledge of COSTAR (an asset).
- Experience in a similar position (an asset).
