We are currently seeking a Semi-Trailer Mechanic for the day shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week.
The Semi-Trailer Mechanic’s main responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on major components requiring special attention on all semi-trailer models. The mechanic must also ensure equipment compliance with occupational health and safety standards and procedures.
Depending on your preference, the position may be based either in the garage (8000 Saint-Patrick Street, LaSalle) or on the road in a mobile service unit.
Main Responsibilities:
- The mechanic will be responsible for, among other things:
- Performing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repairs (brakes, axles, air systems, suspensions, etc.);
- Carrying out preventive maintenance on semi-trailers;
- Entering data (hours worked and parts used) related to completed work orders.
Professional Requirements:
- Ability to use a computer with the Windows operating system;
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
Personal Qualities:
- Strong motivation to perform high-quality work;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Excellent teamwork skills.

Training
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in semi-trailer mechanics or heavy vehicle mechanics;
- P.E.P. card considered an asset.
