Job description
We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team at Morand Ford Lincoln.
Reporting to the Controller, the incumbent will provide support to the Controller and the accounting department. They will participate in all activities related to the accounting cycle.
The tasks listed below are the primary responsibilities of the position. Other related duties may also be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Record and reconcile daily cash receipts;
• Record sales of new and used vehicles;
• Calculate commissions and perform tasks required for payroll preparation;
• Reconcile supplier account statements with the general ledger;
• Provide general support for the accounting department’s activities;
• Track accounts receivable;
Desired Profile:
• Good knowledge of accounting principles;
• Versatility, dynamism, and organizational skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team;
• Basic knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel);
• Meticulousness and strong attention to detail;
• Knowledge of SERTI software (a plus);
• Experience in the automotive industry (an asset).
Salary: VERY competitive based on knowledge and experience.
Schedule: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on-site.
This is a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week.
