Automotive Mechanic Technician

Le Prix du Gros is currently looking for automotive Technicians for its Donnacona Chrysler and Kia Cap-Santé dealerships. With 14 of the world's leading automotive brands represented in 11 different dealerships, our company is one of the largest networks of new and used vehicles in Quebec. The position will start as soon as possible.

Role:

- Carry out the work described on the repair order efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards;
- Determine the cause of any defect and carry out repairs;
- Perform maintenance and tire changes;
- Perform road tests;
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop;
- Perform other duties as required and directed by management.

Skills:

- Knowledge of general mechanics;
- Understanding of electrical schematics;
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults;
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes, shock absorbers, etc.);
- Carry out mechanical repairs and periodic overhauls;
- Use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer procedures;
- Comply with safety and quality standards.
