Job description

Inside the Role
The Fleet Credit Specialist will be responsible for DTFS commercial retail and lease acquisitions for fleet customers. Maintain credit integrity and accuracy with credit analysis and decisions. As well, as remain compliant with established global and local policies and procedures. Establish and maintain positive relationships with DTFS Sales Team and dealer network to assist with profitable growth in the portfolio.

This is a DTFS Band 91 position.

What You Drive at DTFS
 

  • Analyze the financial condition for fleet borrowers with DTFS requesting a line of credit. Decision credit requests up to approved limits of authority of $3MM 1-4 rated or $1.5MM 5+ rated.
  • Perform timely reviews of Fleet borrowers. For credit files outside of limits of authority, present sound and reasoned recommendations to the appropriate approving authorities, such as Local, Local + RCM, and Executive Credit Committee.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the DTFS Sales Team and dealer network to assist with profitable growth of the portfolio.
  • Participate in joint sales calls and customer/dealer visits, when necessary.
  • Have an understanding of all Fleet related legal documentation to remain compliant ensuring DTFS perfection, i.e.: PPSA filings and Subordination Agreements.
  • Remain compliant to Corporate and Local credit policies and procedures.


Knowledge You Should Bring
 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in commercial lending
  • Proficient Knowledge of Accounting, General Business, Credit, Finance
  • Analytical presentation skills and problem solving skills


Exceptional Candidates Might Have 
 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related
  • 1+ years of experience with commercial financial statement analysis
  • Experience with Moodys Credit Lens or similar type application
