Mechanic

Our Fortier Chrysler dealership is looking for a Mechanic with Chrysler training. So, if you're looking to work at a forward-looking dealership, Fortier Chrysler is for you.

The work schedule is during daytime hours ans is as follows:

- Mondays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m;
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m;
- Fridays, from 7:30 a.m. to noon;
- We are closed on weekends;
- Full-time position.

Main responsibilities:

- Perform all aspects of vehicle preventive maintenance;
- Perform repair order work efficiently and accurately, according to dealer and manufacturer standards;
- Identify and repair defects;
- Contact parts department to obtain necessary parts;
- Inspect and road test newly delivered vehicles for damage or missing parts;
- Report any equipment defects or malfunctions to supervisor;
- Comply with protective equipment requirements;
- Present self in a professional manner
- Repair and maintain the braking system;
- Carry out suspension and steering repairs;
- Perform electrical repairs/injections;(trouble shooting)
- Perform all general mechanical repairs;
-Perform all customer service tasks as required;
-Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

- Preferably have 2 or more years of practical experience in vehicle or truck repair;
- Valid driver's licence (wish);
- Ability to research information in repair manuals;
- Punctual and hardworking;
- Work experience and course level at Chrysler (an asset).
