Job description
The after-sales service team at GM Christin CHEVROLET BUICK GMC is currently looking for a Service Advisor for its sales service counter.
Job summary:
The incumbent is responsible for advising commercial customers on the maintenance and repair of light and medium-duty trucks. The incumbent supervises all estimating and repair work performed by technicians at the commercial service counter. He/she is responsible for the work evaluation and invoicing process.
Any relevant experience as a Commercial Service Advisor will be taken into consideration during the interview;
Requirements:
- In-depth practical mechanical knowledge.
- A minimum of five years of management experience in technical services for commercial customers.
- Relevant experience in evaluating and invoicing work on commercial vehicles.
- Bilingualism, French/English, is a prerequisite;
Would be an advantage:
- Proficiency in estimating and invoicing work via Web and e-mail platforms;
- Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds ERA Ignite software;
- Knowledge of North American commercial vehicles;
- Experience in the inspection management processes required by the S.A.A.Q. for the PEP inspection type.
