SCOPE OF THE JOB
In this role, you will oversee and manage key aspects of financial services vendor partnerships within the automotive industry. This includes supporting dealership operations, evaluating performance metrics, and optimizing lease, finance, and F&I product performance. Collaboration with external partners is essential to develop top-tier programs and policies. You will also facilitate communication and streamline processes for internal and external stakeholders, implementing efficient training and operational improvements. Leading project initiatives, analyzing data, and establishing performance metrics aligned with financial targets are critical responsibilities. Additionally, you'll work cross-functionally to innovate new programs and products, ensuring compliance and efficiency in financial operations. Proficiency in French and English will be advantageous for strengthening relationships with Quebec partners and dealerships. This role demands strong analytical skills, project management experience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving priorities and industry practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
 

  • Support in overseeing Financial Services vendor partnerships, dealership support, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and steer lease, finance, and F&I product performance.
  • Collaborate closely with partners to develop best-in-class programs and policies.
  • Provide support to both internal and external partners to facilitate communication and processes
  • Develop processes and conduct training to improve efficiency across direct-to-consumer and franchise dealer activities.
  • Lead, support and contribute to analytics, data management and reporting related to external partnerships
  • Lead project workstreams to achieve set goals, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Establish and monitor performance and efficiency metrics for store operations, aligning with financial and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales Ops, Finance, Legal, Marketing, for codeveloping new programs, products, and streamlining processes.
  • Offer ongoing support for monthly sales program rate subvention, residual values and program reconciliation.
  • Lead system requirements gathering and perform user acceptance testing for tools including digital retail and lender portals.
  • Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert and primary contact for financial services operations and stores.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English a strong asset to communicate effectively and strengthen relationship with Quebec partners and dealerships.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, automotive finance, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in financial services vendor relationship management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in understanding and interpreting complex data and reporting.
  • Experience in project management and performance metrics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems and optimize processes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Lender Originating Systems/ Lender Management Systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with automotive finance, leasing and F&I industry practices is desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed for vendor meetings, industry events, dealership training, or other business-related activities.
