Field Sales Representative – Auto Parts

ML Multi-Pièces d’Auto, affiliated with Bestbuy Distributors, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to expand its customer base of garages and automotive repair shops in Montreal and on the North Shore.

In addition to promoting our automotive parts, you will help develop our BestAuto program among independent repair shops.

This position is based at our current Montreal location. You will also begin prospecting in the Mirabel area in preparation for the opening of our future branch, which is not yet operational.

Your Main Responsibilities:

- Visit garages and automotive repair shops throughout your assigned territory;
- Prospect for new customers and open commercial accounts;
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers and reconnect with former clients;
- Present our automotive parts, promotions and delivery services;
- Promote the BestAuto program, explain its benefits and assist interested garages with the enrolment process;
- Develop a network of potential customers in Mirabel ahead of the new branch opening;
- Collaborate with our Montreal team on quotes and customer follow-ups;
- Plan your customer visits and provide weekly reports on sales activities and results;
- Achieve sales and profitability targets established with management.

Ideal Candidate:

- Good knowledge of automotive parts and the needs of repair shops;
- Experience as a Sales Representative, Automotive Mechanic, Service Advisor or Parts Clerk;
- Ability to approach new customers and build long-lasting business relationships;
- Strong organizational skills, independence and attention to follow-up;
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory;
- Familiarity with garages and repair shops in Montreal and on the North Shore (an asset).

- Base salary based on experience, plus commissions according to a compensation plan established upon hiring;
