$36.92 per hour
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect vehicles at each stage: sanding, masking, priming, sealing, basecoat, clearcoat,
• and buffing.
• Ensure all paint matches, blends, and finishes meet OEM and shop quality standards.
• Maintain paint mixing systems, spray booths, and equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor inventory of paint, primers, abrasives, and consumables; place orders as
• needed.
• Enforce PPE use, ventilation, and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Communicate with estimators and production manager on repair status and any
• additional work needed.
• Perform hands-on prep and paint work during high-volume periods or complex repairs.
Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of waterborne and solvent-based paint systems, blending, tinting,
and color matching.
• Ability to read repair estimates and identify prep/paint labor requirements.
• Leadership skills: able to motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and maintain production
flow. An asset.
• Fluent in English.
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 1-2 Years experience.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a shop environment
• with fumes, dust, and noise.
