Mechanic or Apprentice Mechanic

APS Mécanique Générale & Performance is looking for an Automotive Mechanic or Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in Saint-Lazare.

We are looking for someone who enjoys automotive mechanics, is resourceful, reliable and takes pride in quality workmanship. The successful candidate must be comfortable performing both general mechanical repairs and tire work.

Main responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance and mechanical repairs;
- Service and repair brakes, suspension and steering systems;
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues;
- Perform various automotive repairs;
- Install, remove and balance tires;
- Perform required vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Profile we’re looking for:

- Automotive mechanical experience or currently completing training for an apprentice position;
- Good general knowledge of automotive mechanics;
- Ability to work independently based on level of experience;
- Resourceful, reliable and detail-oriented;
- Strong team player;
- Comfortable installing and balancing tires;
- Eager to learn and grow within the trade.
