Die Designer

The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have an exciting, challenging career opportunity for a Senior Die Designer. Our stamping processes utilize both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

This is for a vacant position.

Wage range: $25.00 - $30.00

Responsibilities include:

- Designing progressive, transfer and line dies

- Interacting with customers regarding design reviews and follow-up

- Providing technical support to machining/tryout/build throughout the die manufacturing process

- Maintaining documentation records of complete die design

- Creating process layouts for part data

- Develop trim lines/ morph surfaces/troubleshoot

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years tool design experience

- background in metal stamping, an asset

- Skills in 3D design and Solid Modelling

- AutoForm experience, an asset

- ProE/Creo 7.0 experience required

- NX experience, an asset

- Ability to work independently and in a team
