Sales Representative – Automotive Aftermarket Parts (Canada)
Company: Bocar
Location: Montreal (Head office) - (Canada wide reach)
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Sales Representative to grow our presence across Canada's automotive aftermarket parts channel. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience selling into major parts store networks — such as NAPA, Bumper to Bumper, Uni-Select/FinishMaster, Carquest, or similar banners — as well as dealership parts and service supply chains. You know how these networks operate, from independent jobber locations to corporate-owned stores, and you have the relationships and market knowledge to open doors and grow accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales relationships with automotive parts store networks (e.g., NAPA, Carquest, Bumper to Bumper) and OEM dealership parts departments across assigned Canadian territory;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing networks and untapped markets;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, purchasing managers, and regional buying groups;
- Present and promote product lines, pricing programs, and promotions to store and dealership decision-makers;
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, market share goals, and account growth objectives;
- Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and network changes;
- Coordinate with marketing and customer service teams to support account onboarding and retention;
- Attend trade shows, buying group events, and industry conferences as needed;
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and territory plans.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience in the automotive aftermarket or parts distribution industry (required);
- Demonstrated experience selling to or working within parts store networks such as NAPA, Carquest, Bumper to Bumper, or similar banners;
- Working knowledge of dealership parts and service supply channels;
- Established relationships within the Canadian automotive parts distribution landscape strongly preferred;
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills;
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently;
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region;
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary plus commission/bonus structure;
- Vehicle allowance or company vehicle;
- Health and dental benefits;
- Travel expense coverage;
- Opportunity to grow with an established player in the Canadian automotive aftermarket.
