Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310S Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with precision and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. The 310S Technician must be capable of working with a variety of tools and schematics, demonstrating excellent mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills.

Duties
 

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using specialized equipment and schematics
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
  • Install, repair, and maintain truck-mounted snow removal equipment, including plows, salt/sand spreaders, and related hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Perform seasonal vehicle preparation and winterization, including service on vehicles equipped for snow removal
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs effectively
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components as needed
  • Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to move parts or equipment during repairs
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders


Skills
 

  • Proficiency in welding, mechanical repair, and maintenance techniques
  • Strong knowledge of automotive schematics and assembly processes
  • Experience installing or servicing truck-mounted snow removal equipment (plows, spreaders) and related hydraulic/electrical systems is an asset
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment required
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
  • Excellent mechanical skills with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Good communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and electrical diagnostics is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
