Talent Acquisition Specialist

At Go Auto, Talent Acquisition is not an administrative function. It is a high-impact business role responsible for helping our dealerships and companies grow by finding exceptional people.

We're looking for someone early in their recruiting career who already stands out.

This role is ideal for a recruiter with 1-3 years of experience who has stayed with one organization long enough to build real recruiting fundamentals, business maturity, and professional confidence. We are not looking for someone who simply posts jobs and schedules interviews. We are looking for someone with strong judgment, polished communication skills, and the ability to represent our organization professionally with candidates and leaders across Canada.

The right person is motivated, curious, coachable, organized, and confident without being overly corporate or rehearsed. They know how to build relationships, stay composed in fast-moving situations, and communicate with professionalism and poise.
What You'll Do
 

  • Partner with hiring leaders across multiple businesses and departments to support current and future hiring needs
  • Source, recruit, and headhunt talent across dealership and corporate roles throughout Canada
  • Build talent pipelines instead of waiting for applicants
  • Conduct virtual and in-person interviews
  • Write compelling outreach messages and job postings
  • Manage multiple searches at once while maintaining strong communication and follow-through
  • Represent Go Auto professionally throughout the candidate experience
  • Learn how high-performing recruiting functions operate at scale

What We're Looking For
 

  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience within one organization
  • Demonstrated stability and professional growth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence speaking with candidates, leaders, and passive talent
  • Professional maturity and sound judgment
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset with strong follow-through
  • Cold-calling or direct sourcing experience is considered an asset
