Heavy Duty Mechanic, 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman - Balzac, AB

The Role
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance work in line with OEM standards
• Work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air systems
• Support CVIP inspections, or perform them if licensed
• Maintain accurate service records and follow shop safety procedures
• Morning and afternoon shifts available, with some weekend work required
Education
• Registered 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
• CVIP License is an asset
• Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license is an asset
Experience
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks or related equipment
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins engines is an asset
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
