310T Mechanic Apprentice

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is hiring a Heavy Duty/Crane Mechanic (310T) Apprentice to join our team in

Sarnia, Ontario

Salary: $28.28-$45.24/hour

*Please note this is a unionized position*

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

 

• Ensuring the condition of equipment is in line with the applicable standards and instructions
• Performing all-round maintenance and repair services
• Carrying out work to a high quality, including inspection, prevention, renovation and modification
• Completing new-build projects when required
• Working on different types of mechanical (auxiliary) equipment related to diverse power transmission systems

 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

• Professional level experience in maintenance operations, driver and control, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems. Basic level experience in rigging operations and equipment
• English, basic proficiency verbal and written
• Safety training and certification to Mammoet standards
• Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
• Secondary education in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering considered an asset
