Red Seal RV Service Technician

We are currently looking for an experienced Red Seal RV Service Technician to join our Service Team at our Abbotsford, BC dealership. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a supportive team environment.

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour (depending on RV experience) plus benefits

What You'll Do

As a Red Seal RV Service Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and customer-ready.

Responsibilities include:

 

• Diagnosing and repairing RV electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, water, and appliance systems
• Performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on RV components and systems
• Troubleshooting slide-outs, leveling systems, wiring, and other RV features
• Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components
• Installing and upgrading RV accessories and systems, including solar panels, hitches, wiring, and aftermarket products
• Repairing RV appliances such as refrigerators, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioners, stoves, and microwaves
• Completing service documentation and repair records accurately
• Communicating professionally with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations
• Following safety standards and ensuring all work meets quality expectations
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

 

• Red Seal Certification preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an RV Technician or in a related trade such as automotive, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, trailer repair, or similar service environments
• Candidates with strong transferable troubleshooting and repair experience are encouraged to apply
• RV Technician Certification completed or in progress is considered an asset
• Experience with RV and trailer repairs preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with vehicle hitches, towing systems, and wiring is an asset
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work Saturdays during peak season
